wah wah SONGS gives back to local Austin area musicians by co-writing songs with every vocalist we work with. We embrace each artists unique sound, style, and personality. Unlike the corporate music industry we aren’t looking to change anyone to fit into a ‘commercial sales package’.
wah wah SONGS records and pays for every song produced by the amazing group of musicians that make up 512 Studio Band in the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, Texas. From 512 Studios producer/owner, Omar Vallejo, Vallejo Band, bass and harmony to Haydn Vitera, electric violin, violin, acoustic guitar, two time Grammy winner for his time with Asleep At The Wheel along with a violinist on a Stevie Wonder tour, wah wah SONGS pack a big punch of the best talent.
We help struggling musical artists by not only paying them to play and/or sing on their own record but wah wah SONGS also covers the full cost of their studio production. Next we promote each of our artists songs across all social media platforms to get them the attention they deserve. Our hope is that each of our talented musical artists gets enough social media exposure that someone signs them to a full album deal.
wah wah SONGS is in the process of seeking funding to start the non-profit, Austin Song Ranch. Much like Robert Redford’s pet project in Sundance, Utah, wah wah SONGS plans to create a place for talented but struggling musical artists. Austin Song Ranch plans to provide song writing classes and workshops while housing the musicians who attend each session. Then we’ll record each song in a state-of-the-art record production studio. Each weekend to week long songwriters workshop will culminate in a performance of each artist’s song at a small amphitheater located on the ranch. The onsite venue will be large enough for each artist to include a handful of friend and family for the group performance at the end of each songwriting seminar.
Stay Tuned for more information on our future Austin Song Ranch.
