Husband and wife song writing team started wah wah SONGS for one reason: to write, create, and produce original live music, great songs, and new records with the talented musicians that make up 512 Studio Band. The goal of wah wah SONGS is to create, produce and release music that connects and moves the crowd.

wah wah SONGS Who We Are
wah wah SONGS is led by husband-and-wife team Thomas and Carri Pattison. Together, they write all of their own song lyrics — every word, every line. But songwriting at wah wah isn’t a solo act. Thomas and Carri also co-write with every vocalist they bring on board, making sure each voice has a genuine interest in the songs they sing. The result is new music with a Texas twist verses something that the Corporate Music Industry crams into a mold it feels will sell.
How wah wah SONGS Works
We do things differently from other independent record labels.
wah wah SONGS carries 100% of the production costs for every song we record. This allows our musicians and vocalists to focus on the creative instead of struggling with record production costs. wah wah SONGS invests fully in each recording project because we only write and produce songs we love to sing and hear played live.
Every wah wah SONG is composed and produced entirely by the 512 Studio Band, recording at 512 Studios right here in Austin. No outsourcing, no remote sessions stitched together across time zones. Just a world-class group of musicians, in one room, building something real.
The People Behind the Sound
The 512 Studio Band isn’t a rotating cast of session players. These are seasoned musicians with serious résumés.
Omar Vallejo owns and operates 512 Studios and produces every wah wah SONGS recording. Omar is also still active as a performer — playing bass and singing harmony with Vallejo Band. He brings both a producer’s precision and a working musician’s instincts to every session.
Haydn Vitera is a two-time Grammy Award winner who played with the legendary Asleep At The Wheel and toured with Stevie Wonder. A true string master, Haydn performs electric violin, violin, and acoustic guitar — adding depth and texture that most records simply don’t have access to.
Marty Lyman handles lead guitar with the kind of feel that only comes from years of playing.
Rich Baur anchors the rhythm on drums.
Megan ‘The Voice’ Ruger lends her stunning vocal presence to many of our songs — a voice that listeners remember long after the track ends.
